This might be old news to some people, but it was a major revelation (and relief!!) for me!

I have tried many different tricks for removing those white deposits from old pots (e.g. as walnuts in a sock, soaking the pot in vinegar, burying the pot underground, etc.), but nothing has ever worked!

Today, Matthew Ouwinga suggested that i try Crean Mate, and it worked like a dream!! (Yes, i allowed the pot to dry, and the marks did not return!).

I share this trick with Matthew's permission of course.

Gorgeous pot. I'm not familiar with the product. Is it Crean Mate or Clean Mate?

it’s like a gritty eraser used to clean tools. One block lasts forever.
