How to thicken Larch?

I have this Larch Bonsai and I was wondering how I can thicken the trunk further. It is currently just shy of two inches at root level.

To me, the trunk size looks perfect : its shape doesn't look much like the various species of Larch I know, it looks like a "Sugi" with its horizontal branches.

Very "un-natüralistik", but quite a nice bonsai as it is.

Thanks. Yes this style is not quite natural of Larch. The seller said the same.

I was just thinking of letting the pads grow a little bigger than it’s current size. That will bring a few things in a better proportion. Any suggestions please
