At the far end of my yard lies a patch of aggressive weeds on the fence line....today, I noticed what appears to be a Mulberry tree right in the middle.
The trunk is only about 2.5 inches across, I figure I'll let it go for couple more years and then chop.....then dig a couple years later.
No, dig it up soon, when it's in full leaf, trim big roots saving feeder roots, pot up in a low but wide pot and sink the pot for 2 years, not 3 years. Trim the top in August. They make great trees. Constantly head them back to keep them compact.
