These are larvae I assume. Also there were tiny white worms in the soil. The worms were much smaller than these things. What the heck are they?

According to the guide it does not occur in Eastern North America. I think thats what stunted my pines growth. I hope it did not kill it.

Im not sure if they were consuming the roots.

maggot coccons. For my pine small flies are attracted to the fertilizer bag and lag maggots in the soil. Doesn't seem to effect the health of the tree at all.

Ohh that explains it. I use Hoko bio fertilizer which is chicken droppings among other things. Whew thank you. I think the tree is struggling a bit due to a pretty heavy root loss during repoting. I do not think it will die but it will take a year or more to recover.
