I hate wisteria!

Seriously, one wisteria vine has invaded my whole yard. It even sends runners all the way under the house and up the other side. I layered this one off of it 6 years ago.

Slow what? My landscape version sends 6 foot runners out in a month. The 3 foot trunk I dug last spring is half concealed due to the canopy that has exploded this spring. I'm very hopeful that racemes are in it's near future. Nothing slow about my two. Perhaps you mean slow to bloom?

aww come on, wisteria is ok. you just have to grow it on something that you don't care about, preferably away from everything else in the yard. like in a field for preference. (check out the wisteria arbor t Hakone Gardens in the bay area CA.)
