I have a jade bonsai and it has overgrown It looks more like ground cover LOL

Here is a few pics. I have some questions. 1. Can you succesfully wire jade plant or should I just trim it. I tried proping it up with a stick and it did not work. It would actually make a nice bonsai if it would stand straight up. 2. anybody ever try a cascade with a jade? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I don't think it is a jade, rather a P. afra. I've seen them wired, but I just clip and grow. Sure you could do a cascade if you want.

You are correct it is a porta afra sorry about the mix up!!! LOL

P afra often have a trailing or sprawling habit, sometimes to the point of weeping.
