Liked the leaves and the name tag was covered and ruined with the discount price, sales person just got the name on the tip of the tongue but ...that is the one that grows into the tree. It was good enough for me lol.
Some clues, it is deciduous I think, leaves look fresh new and freeze tolerant,was in outside section of the store.Any guess?

Not sure, but it isn't alive....yet. Probably dried spots of hard water.

Whatever it is, it has large compound leaves, so it should probably be grown very large to be proportional as bonsai - unless you're thinking more of an accent plant, which is what that faroutflora one looks like.
