this little ficus was growing through a crack in the wall. Since I don’t have a yard to make things grow big, I might as well goof around with smaller things.

A very shallow porous red clay dish was bought yesterday from the Puja store.
The moss grows well in the sun on a broken piece of fired clay.
What about a dish ?

If you are going to go small, take the time to really look for plants that
do the small. Then you get into ---------- small pots --------- glazes
and hand made stands.
Odd stones, pipe fittings, talc carvings................................

I’m keeping it on my bathroom windowsill. I keep the door closed so it gets all the heat and humidity from outside. I like to believe that the shower steam helps too.

Good job! The shower steam can really help a lot. I starting planting as my hobby and I became really interested in bonsai. I learned that having a hobby is one of the secrets of having a great day.

i like number 6, with the short breaks. every time friends ask me to go out, i say that i'll be down in 10 minutes, then i take a quick power nap.
