So I bought this one as nursery stock and immediately slip potted it into a bonsai pot and styled it last April.
A few days ago I potted it into something I believe fits it a little more. I did do some rootwork and substrate change hoping it survives.

What do you all think about the planting angle and the bend in general does it look too unnatural?

Any suggestions?

I like it facing to the right as the front what do you all think?

What is the concept of it, like was the wind blowing on it during growth years or is it currently bending? I like the back view for now, and the improvement over potted plant is just great. If this is convex leaf holly you have a looong time to ponder future. So slow growth.
