Its not Randy's anymore, but you could do a lot worse than working with the current owners. They're good guys and have worked with me a number of times.

[WNC Bonsai]

For info on collecting natives in NC go to YouTube and look for the Appalachian Bonsai channel. He has a lot on collecting in this area. He isn’t posting much right now as he has gone back to school and working on a master’s degree but there is a lot on there to look at from the past years and he adds more when he has time. The Carolina Bonsai Expo is scheduled for mid-June here in Asheville assuming it does not get cancelled so look forward to that as a good show to attend.
