This is a Sargents juniper that belongs in that thread, "what the heck should I do with it".
The sacrifice branch left on is 26.5" long total and as much foliage as the main project.
Branching is better placed than the main trunk, which just never had what makes me tick.
It is feasible that I might bend to my maximum comfort level and change planting angle
and use the now sacrifice as the main project being a sacrifice anyway...
