Euonymous Alatas starters

I thought this would be a great species to start indoors for an extended season of growth.
I love the guaranteed Autumn color of the Burning Bush and they are quite resilient.
Also they can be quite attractive in growth habit and texture of branchlets and twigs.
I do not see these available often as quality starters,so wish me luck!

I will be doing a Winter crop of these along with Japanese Black and Red Pine seedling cuttings………possible Field Maple if they germinate a higher %.

Will have around 500 of pines and lots of the Euonymous if they sprout.

EBB & FLOW HYDROPONICS

It is no secret I have an interest in Ebb & Flow hydro techniques as of late.I prefer the Grodan Stonewool Mini-Blocks in the trays.Everything is just easier this way.

I can only hope the buyers of these seedlings can adjust to my chosen media and its unique properties and are able to transition them along to proper growout phase and the future of great bonsai in the making……….can be a fun journey for sure!

The products I start indoors definately have a much bigger and vigorous aspect as they take in 3x normal atmospheric level of Co2………..co2 fertilization is very exciting and a joy if done correctly with all other environmental and plant nutrition perameters dialed in.

Well looks like 90 day cold stratification for the Burning Bush……will start Pines later as they can get way too big ( although there is hopes of an outdoor contained grow structure with way more room for this).

Will rearrange from my last attemp as the ebb and flow resevoir needs to be out of the grow tent in the cooler temps……..then can feed all three tents with one resevoir.
Quality of water will last a few weeks this way and also less evaporation.
If one puts this resevoir in the tent there is unneccesary loss of space and the nutrien gets a bit warm and can go stale rather quickly.

Euonymous will almost root 100% of the time, you will probably have good luck with small cuttings too
