That juniper you are approach grafting with Peter is going to be phenomenal.Wow that was fun to read, blast from the past! Ryan Neil is the man! I joined Mirai live as soon as it went public, great content and it's incredible to see what he's built!
My chubby face back in 2009 with one of my first Bonsai. An Ume which I currently have growing in my growing field, trunk is about 3x thicker now, but still has a long way to go.

2009 was not a bad year to buy real estate. I wish I’d bought a home in 2009, or ideally in 2011/2012. Also wish I was researching Ryan Neil in 2009…I prefer to think positively.
