Does mycorrhiza form OK in non organic soils? Any experienced growers care to share their experiences / pics ?

Non organic includes Akadama ? If so, lots of my mycorrhiza in my pines. I fertilize heavily with organics so I don't know if that makes a difference.

Ive seen healthy amounts of fungi in 100% pumice. I think you will have colonization as long as you provide a surface for the mychorizae to grow on, and water/air/nutrients to support them. Obviously, you would want tree roots added to that mix : ) As long as you provide those elements, I think the fungus will grow just about anywhere.
