Worked on several small honeysuckles today and one larger one. The larger one got a major trim and wiring (3.5 hours). It has a few design problems but I really like the open savanna Motif. The left hand lower branch will be allowed to grow out and up so it won't appear so parallel. It is my most stable H.S. and it flowers well but won't this year.

It was collected years many ago while I hung out of a canoe. A neferious oaf held me by the belt and made disracting comments the whole time. "Crust if I let go right now I would get two bacon sandwhichs at lunch" or "Hand you the saw? How about a paddle that'll work won't it?"

Very fine. Excellent ramification for a wild honeysuckle. Excellent tree. My only attempt at constructive criticism would be rounding out the crown a bit more. But thats personal preference. The "open savannah motif" makes it more unique.

Maybe? Predictable, I guess.

I love the feeling it has of being both balanced, and unbalanced at the same time.

Kinda like leaning out of a canoe?

Do you have a pic of it in flower?

Maybe stashed some where but not a good one I am afraid.

I suppose I will round it out some with time but the irregularity is nice for now.

"It was collected years many ago" Thanks for the picture of your beautiful tree, yoda.
