the following species of Prunus? Do you know the botanical name? I am at my wits end trying to get an answer. No-one in Australia seems to know. Just to help, I "think" it is a cultivar of Prunus Elvins and that's the best that I can do. As you can see, the flowers are quite small by Prunus standards. Hope someone can help. I am after the botanical and common name. Having a lot of trouble getting an answer back here in Australia.

Regards

John

It's a prunus, probably a cherry. Specific cultivar really doesn't matter bonsaiwise. It should respond to the overall care recommended for that species. Dwarf cultivars tend to be very slow growers however.
