I've noticed in the past couple weeks that some of the leaves on my Sageretia theezans look as though they've been chewed on. A few have small holes, the edges of which have turned brown. I suspect some sort of insect might be snacking on my tree, but I haven't seen any insects on the foliage or in the soil.

The tree is overall healthy and the damage is on a small percentage of the leaves. I would like to deal with the problem now before it becomes an issue.

If anyone has any experience with similar damage on their trees, and advice would be appreciated. 20150504_182552.jpg 20150504_182413.jpg 20150504_182245.jpg 20150504_182218.jpg 20150504_182316.jpg 20150504_182552.jpg 20150504_182413.jpg 20150504_182245.jpg 20150504_182218.jpg 20150504_182316.jpg

Looks ok. I'd wash it heavy with a blast of water and keep an eye on it.

Then chop it at the first branch!

Nice!
