Is this an Elm?

Is this part of the elm family? This was given to me
with being identified as a Zelkova elm or an hornbeam. It is five"
tall with mature leaves about 1/2" long. It has a gray trunk and
is very tiggy. Any ideas? The pics were just taken. I live in Ft
Lauderdale area.

It's probably better if you take a picture of a leaf so that people can help you identify the tree.
