Is Ficus nana a direct variant of Ficus microcarpa, or is it a variant of a variant from other variants like Ficus Latifolia or Ficus Crassifolia?

I think the scientific name for Ficus Nana is Ficus microcarpa. Google says the same. I always get confused with the different species of ficus. Someone will correct me if I'm wrong. :)

It looks like a microcarpa. The generic name for it is laurel fig I believe
