We've had mental weather here in Sweden lately, with the temperatures going from -2 to +25c.. Most of my garden seems very confused as to what season it is, and my bonsai trees have been hit the worst. I've been trying to rule out what could possibly be wrong with this juniper. Is this root rot?

I've already chopped three other branches that looked similar. The branches feel the same as they did before, but within a few days they go to completely brown and dead.

Show some pics of the soil, sometimes junipers and other trees have s branch die over the winter,if more continue to turn brown id really get concerned, seeing your soil would help

The weather has improved a bit and the juniper seems happy for it. The one branch is definitely dead, but the rest seems fine now. I'll keep monitoring it.

Thank you everyone. :)
