For me , it is because it looks like an island. It has its own lakes and mountain range,etc.
The cool thing about viewing stones is they are what you see them as! This could be a mountain stone or a pool stone.
I see it as a volcanic island.

Awesome thanks!!! I know you and Sam were talking about this idea awhile ago.... I've always wondered however how many people classify stones that seem to meet many criteria.... nice to know that its more about appreciation than classification.... Id rather appreciate things rather than label them....

The Mokelumne River near where I live was at its lowest in many years about a month ago and the rock bars were going WAY out into the river uncovering stones that probably haven't been seen in 40 years!
I found this stone and these others on that day.
