The genetic tendency for all living things is a hopeless and futile effort to reproduce when faced with death and destruction. It is for this reason and hanged man will ejaculate. This does not necessarily mean the production of pollen cones is bad; but if they all of a sudden show up your tree may be under some sort of stress.
