This are the examples i like and get the inspiration from. And of course this movie.

@sorce thanks. I'm still want too improve myself.

I will start planting the other ones when our ugly winter is over, more change of succes in spring with planting. Then i make a full pic with good background.

Your rocks & pots have come a long way Ruben. Very well-done! Should get a pot from you one of these days. NOw to find a suitable tree.. Hm.. Nope. Don't have one yet.

Iwas there when the Kimura video was shot. one of the main things he let us know was one trick: He uses airlayers for the junipers. That is how he gets the very small rootballs. Also see http://www.growingbonsai.net/opening-of-world-bonsai-convention-saitama/

Cool you where there jelle and thanks. I saw that on the movie about the airlayers, the ones i have are from Gijs Meboer. He trained them for rock planting only he had to cut them back earlier.
Let me know when you find a tree for a slab or rock!
