Yep, I know I posted here before, but it was such a while ago that I forgot how:rolleyes:

Anyway, just for the sake of reminding myself how to post pics here I thought I would give it another go.

Here are three commissioned pieces from last month's firing.

This first pot is a medium sized oval for Sandy at the Central Florida Club.

These next two are from Rosemarie, a dear woman who lives in the Florida panhandle.

A small shohin round, followed by a rectangle.

The rectangle has a subtle curve that was carved out while at the leather hard stage.

Any comments are more than welcomed.:)

Very nice work, I like the rectangle. You don't see many rectangle pots that are hand made. Do they crack easier ?

This is from a last month. I haven't been posting here in a while. This forum is not too Mac friendly so I am sending from my pc at work.

Rob,

It's nice to see some of your current work.

The ovals look good. They have nice proportions and have a very stable feel.

I like the rectangle with the crackle glaze. Very good glaze application and a very good use of the color contrast between the clay body and the glaze.

My favorite of this batch would be the copper oval. Excellent glaze application and the detail work gives the pot a very refined look. Great job!

Regards,
Paul

Now for some recent stuff. This medium sized oval has a bit of textured patterning coming up through the glaze...

What can I say. I love making ovals!

This glaze worked out nice, albeit a bit on the runny side....

Thanks for letting me share:)
