It's getting chilly and Fall colors are beginning to pop!

It's been in the 40's F the last few mornings and there were a few 30's this morning north and west of me... Fall is here! The trees are just beginning to show some fall color- something that rarely happened in GA- and I took some pictures to mark the transition. It'll be fun to update here as we progress through October. Feel free to post your own fall color photos if you like.

Slightly up the coast, we've got a little bit of fall color coming in, even though it's 90F.

I left for Florida last week, with the weather here still in the 80s and 90s. Came back to all my trees already changing- much earlier than usual! I think it got down to 54 when I was gone.

Same! I spent 13 falls in GA where the seasonal color is "meh" at best... this year, I'm gonna enjoy this!

Light frost on the roof shingles this morning… Daily color changes happening now

American hornbeam in 5B Iowa approaching peak. Terrible picture in direct sun with harsh shadow, but it almost iridescent in person!
