Can you help me with styling advice on this jaboticaba? It’s currently about 36” from the soil. I see it as a tall tree, but maybe not quite this tall. Pic 1 is what I see as the front. I’m going to work on a virt of my ideas, I’d love to see some with more experience.

also… I found aphids on it this morning. Any treatment best for this species?

Regarding the aphids, I've always found that they're easy to get rid of but if you're not consistent, an infestation can easily manifest quicker than you think. This is what I do whenever I had them and worked for me with great success. I'm sure there are a million different options, I'll just share mine.

First I'd get my vacuum with the slender attachment thingy and suck as many of them off the plant as possible.

Next I'd get a hose or any high pressure water apparatus and blow the remaining stragglers off.

Lastly, after the sucking and blowing (oh grow up, will you?) I'd use a mix of water, a little vinegar and a little dish soap in a spray bottle applied 2-4 times a day. Some of it is going to drip onto your soil but this isn't cause for concern, you'd need to use a large amount of either agent for an extended period to significantly damage your tree.

Hope this helps :]

Thanks for the tips. I’ll give it all a shot. Must be season… I found more on some other trees this morning
