I have this lil Jade, been in this lil bonsai pot for a good couple years now, something to work on when winter is in season. I prefer the front with the biggest branch in the back, seems to look better from this side, Its getting quite thick in some areas, wondering if pruning some of the bigger shoots will help improve taper and give some of the smaller lower branches a chance. Never wired one of these but Im sure I can manipulate the branches a bit, thanks for checking it out.

If it was mine, I would cut right where you show in red. The new leaves should come in smaller. Reminds me, my office ones need to be cut back too.

If that left branch is cut there...will a bud be able to grow left from the node below? What of the stub?

Just don't know how these grow.

I would be hesitant to cut the left and not the right trunk, as your size difference will diminish.

Are you going to allow branches to grow up and out or out and down?

I think I should take the left up a notch when I do trim it.

Really not sure what I want out of this, I like the start, I think I would like it grow a little higher, then let it start spreading. Waiting until it warms up and i can get it out of the house first.
