Hello everyone , I got this and they call it "January Pine" here in Iran but there is no such a thing in the categories . So I need to know what kind of tree is this so i can provide proper care for it . the dealer told me it can be placed inside behind windows with some sunlight and water spray once per day . thank you 2ecff512-492f-4cb8-8062-d11118dd8719.jpg16daf3b0-5074-4cfe-a217-4513c95cfa1b.jpg

Looks to me like a type of Chamaecyparis pisifera to me, but I'm not positive.

Welcome to Crazy!

Looks like "Lemon Cypress" to me.

Thank You . Yes it's confirmed as Lemon Cypress , the thing is there is not a lot of bonsai s of it out there. All I figured out is it needs a lot of sunlight and preffers outside and cant handle lower than 10 C outside in winter and fretilizing once a month would do the job .

bonsai s of it out there.

I believe our "little Christmas Tree" Contest may have some Lemon Cypress entries, though I don't know how thorough any information on them will be.

Yours looks pretty large in comparison to any I've seen.
