This is a nice Japanese stone I just finished the daiza for that I thought I would share.

How does a rock have an ethnicity?

From my limited knowledge of Suiseki, stones are often noted for their origins, as those origins can indicate desirable attributes and characteristics. I assume this stone was imported from Japan.

I meant it was found and bought in Japan.

Looks like Yoda sideways with his arm up........

Is the wood sappele?

Wood is 150 year old walnut.
The client who owns this stone sees a bear looking to the right, you can see his head and arm.
