trap crops work pretty well, they love the berries far more than my trees. And we have a huge mole population! (they eat the grubs that turn into the beetles.)
JB's also love roses.

I seem to be getting more of them this year, and less june bugs

I used quasar on my trees this spring to protect against borers, and as an upshot the boxes are covered with dead beatles and the leaves are minimaly eaten.
