Japanese black/red pine tip browning

I am in zone 5b. I see my japanese red pine having brown tips. The needle is diffusing towards the color(brownish yellow I believe) at the end. I also added a slight bit of epsom salt about 2 weeks back since I have read it helps greening up the tree. I also gave a spray of daconyl for treatment. I have been good with watering and only water when it dries up.
Is that tip browning related to salt damage/heat? What could be the solution to resolve? Appreciate any inputs.
