I have a couple. The first is from 2005-6, The second is the Spring growth from 2006 or7 and the third is a year or two after it was placed in one of my planters for growing out 1995.
Thanks Vance, the fall colors and spring growth look great.

It's about twenty inches tall from table to top. The trunk is about two and one-half inches across the base above the Nebari. That's just from memory, I can't get at it right now but I'll post exact deminsions once I do. Thanks for asking.

Vance,

I like this post, because you said this beautiful maple was grown from just a stump! I have a nursery grown kiyohime that I just repotted today. I reduced the foliage down to a few branches instead of stump this fall because I heard cultivars are less vigorous than the species. I was wondering if you're familiar with this cultivar? If it's safe to reduce it to a stump, can I still remove some of the long straight branches? Or do you think I should just let it rest and recover for the rest of the year?
