This is my first group of Japanese quince that I bought from an online store. The trees arrived right before the buds started to elongate and the new leaves are coming out curled up. All the leaves in the tree are fine except for the new ones. Would this be fungi related, or just stress from the shipment?

Not an expert here but it could be either. I would nip it back to normal growth.

I'm thinking shipping damage on emerging foliage.
If the edges of leafs get damaged, they don't grow while the rest of the leaf does. This causes wrinkling and odd shapes.

Nothing to worry about. But if the newer emerging foliage also shows the same damage, you might want to reconsider.
