I am having trouble ID'ing this tree, any input would be appreciated. I tried google images and got conflicting ID's.

Leaves look like a Japanese Maple - Acer palmatum.

There are literally hundreds of cultivars of a. palmatum. Green leaves, red leaves, purple leaves, orange leaves... it’s going to be very difficult to identify one based solely on that one picture. :)

Acer palmatum for sure. The red leaves cut the number of cultivars down by about 2/3 but there are still many red leaved Japanese maples so chances of a definitive ID on the variety are remote.
