Imperial Masterpiece
Many of you do not know that I had a gallery for about 8 years and did antique shows up and down the east coast. I am going through some Japanese prints now and thought I might list a few here to see if there is any interest. I am not going to give a dissertation on the art of the Japanese Woodblock and how complex the process is, if you are looking you probably know and if you don't know you have google and its ilk.
This print is Kintai Bridge at Suwa by Tomikichirou Takuriki from the 1950s. Overall the print is in good condition for framing. It is a good imprint with minor fading and good bleed through. It has a small tear that is shown and staining on the bottom right. It is signed and stamped. About 16 x 11 inches. Price is $55 with shipping inside USA.
