Sorry, not much to look at. A bonsai club on oahu had a plant sale this past sunday & I picked up these 3 sticks. I guess I felt sorry for these because nobody was buying them.

This one has at least some trunk to work with

And this one I thought EHHHH what the hell, its kinda interesting cause its planted in deadwood

The first two are really quite nice... I particularly like the second one... sure they are not jaw-dropping, but as you said the second one has nice movement, nice nebari, good branch placement... definitely won't take 10-20 years to make something out of this guy. Could be a nice little JBP with some wire and branch development.

Harder to tell with the first and third... I wonder what the first looks like from other angles?

i like this stock very much! i sure would have jumped on it, give the chance. they are worth investing the next 10yrs. even the 3rd one could make a great companion to the right tree.:)
