I think he isn't so new, or maybe i'm a huge noob because i had to google jbp .

I read his other post. He, like some here(myself included) took some time off of bonsai for whatever reason and now he's back. This is a hobby that is hard to quit. Once you have grown and kept a bonsai they are in the back of your mind forever.
