Not knowing the size of your hands or hand strength befor buying go to your local hardware Home Depot and look at different sizes of pliers. To many people buy tools that they don't have the strength to use. Lots of times you can tools that will do the same job or better at 1/3 the cost.

I can't remember positively which is which, hopefully someone will chip in, I think I want to say go with wiring pliars, and skip the jin pliars. You can get double duty out of the one pair, with the benifit of the wiring pliars being made to grip and work the wire from multiple points around the tool(better so than a pair of typical pliars from a box store). Jin pliars are basically a grip and squish tool.

thanks for the input,
ive been using a combination of a pair of needle nose pliers and adjustable pliers to get the job done and i think its time to move up to an actual set of bonsai pliers.
