Hi.
Peter Claflin ask me to drop by here. As I checked I was an old member here and my last visit was 2011. Anyway here are some of my casuarina trees. I hope I posted correctly, it's been a while.
regards,
Juan llaga

Very Beautiful trees, thank you for sharing them. Since you have been away so long, you should put your location in your profile so we can see where you are from.

Nice to have you here. Always very impressed with your trees when I see them pop by on fakebook.

Very nice trees! I am not familiar with casuarina... I had to go look them up! :) Do you have any before and after pictures showing what the trees looked like when collected (and perhaps where they were collected from?)

I collected about 7 of these in FL about 6 or 7 years ago and the last one is outside in the ground for the summer. It looks like crap anyway. Definitely not a tree for the northern greenhouse.

How do you get the foliage to shorten so much?
Those "leaves" of casuarina arent actually one solid piece, they are just basically attached nodes. You can shorten them by plucking your desired length. image from the net
