This is my first winter with 2 of my 2 year old juniper trees, I live in Wisconsin and the temp at night is starting to get around 35-40°f at the end of October. How much longer if at all should it take for the junipers to go dormant and what's the best temp/place to keep them once they turn dormant?? Any help and or advice would be appreciated thanks...

Zone 4?
I wait until frozen solid.
North side of a building.
Shielded from wind and sun.
I set mine on mulch then cover the pots with mulch up to the first branch.
Walk away.
If you get no snow and a thaw check they are still moist.
I've yet to lose a juniper from cold.

I have them sitting on a table outside now, when they go dormant do you think I could put it inside a covered walkway that's not heated just blocks the elements.
