Softest - hard 1 year.
Harder and hardest 2 year.

I purchased in early Summer 2023 from a local nursery as featured (in a bonsai pot) and inorganics. I am not certain but maybe 3+ years?

I believe so, yes @czaczaja . Of course it depends on how vigorous your plant is. In very vigorous plants, it can stay green for a year or two because the tissue expands so fast. In low vigor plants it can turn to wood within the same season.
