Juniper Prostrata

New to bonsai and was given a 2gal J Prostrata bought at Kimura Bonsai. I have 2 1/2 hour group class in a couple of weeks to repot tree, trim and wire branches. Im not sure if I want to make it a semi-cascade or prop it up and make it upright. I like the low profile pot for either design but what do you all think?

Take advantage of the curve and run with it. I have a J. procumbens that has always wanted to be a semi-cascade but I kept cutting it back and trying to make it upright. Then last year I gave in and let it grow and it is doing great now. Sometimes you just have to listen to what the tree is telling you!

Good advice. I have a 4” pot procumbens nana that is 75 degree upright and it’s trunk and branches more bendable so I may wire it up to stay upright. Thanks again.
