I like the line of the trunk, but moving that top branch back and under makes the tree seem as i'm looking at the back of a tree. Particularly a tree that was place in front of a wall and never rotated.

I highlighted what I think would look good....if it were my tree.

I'm sorry to hijack this thread a little bit, I have juniper in my bench that I've been meaning to do some work on it, but I was wondering if now is the right time, its still in its nursery stock state and I havent gotten the time to clean it properly so right now its pretty much a full bush,
What I Was hopping to do on it for now is jin lower branch and add some heavy bending to the main trunk for now, maybe I'll go for a root reduction and repot next year, what do you guys think.
Im thinking about doing the cleaning this weekend, and maybe the bending the would be "trunk" are relatively stiff since they have about 15 to 20mm, so to avoi misshaps I was considering doing the bending wrapping the trunk in wet raffia and then very slowly star being out.
I was wondering if this is a good idea, since by bending this heavily It would most likely damage the branches and since the tree is active at the moment this could compromise the branches there fore would bending in the winter would be a better idea? or by doing it in the winter since the tree is dormant no healing would occur?

Don't remove anything until you absolutely must.

Keep that low thing to heal the others bend.

Or in case the bend dies.
