Here is a b4 and after of a pre-bonsai juniper after my apprentice got his hands on it ;). Any thoughts?

Start teaching him Japanese now, and after he apprentices in a quality house:D, you can dial him in to your retirement plans. Ryan Oneil is already booked for all next year, see what can happen.

At least he has an eye for better starter material.:D

Not a good idea. When my daughter was 5, she found a pair of shears lying around and decided to give herself a haircut...luckily, her hair grows quickly and we didn't need any skin grafts to the scalp:eek::D.

Seriously, that's a nice trunk. You've got to grow out your canopy now. Feed, feed, feed, and let her rip growth wise for a few years. Good luck.

Yep, been there she done that Dave, same age too. She's back to being darling though. I do let her do some watering though, they love to be included in everything.
