Seeds?

I was under the impression they all came from berries.
Though I never have seen a Shimp with a berry.

Sorce
But the berries/cones contain the sees inside them, don't they?

Did you ever figure this on out, @my nellie ? Could it be that thing where plants will transpire "salty" water and get white spots when the water evaporates?
No I did not really. What I do know is that after the treatment this ailment gradually stopped. Coincidence? I really do not know.
I do not know if this tree transpires "salty" water... However, the supposition of yours doesn't seem to be the case, as I see it... because the tree should transpire the salty water equally all over its foliage, shouldn't it?
This "salty" deposit was only in one branch (firstly) and then slowly it expanded on two nearby branches.

They still look like pollen cones to me.
Yes, you are correct.
These are pollen cones, of course.
However, I am referring to the whitish "substance" on the tips.

Please, take a look at the red circles on the photo below.
I know it is indiscernible and my photograph skills are null but it is there if you look...

Thanks for your consideration!

Told you what one of the best juniper professionals in America said about this. Don't believe him?

Hello drew,
I apologize for being late in replying... I am sorry I was not visiting BNut often lately...

Well, after your post # 87 on which you told me about "pitch" I had replied to you asking for some clarification if possible because I could not find anything regarding "pitch" :)
Apparently you have missed that post of mine.
Hello drew.
I searched on the internet but could not find anything results like "pitch on junipers' foliage"
Do you mind sharing some description when you feel like having the time, please.
Or perhaps could you share a link to the video of RN (if it's free I mean...)
Thank you!
However, it's never too late for an answer :)

Thank you for your interest!

Updating : I made the second HBR last September.
The tree was growing well during summer.
But it seems it has been affected somehow... We will see...

Do you mean it' foliage has an abnormal color?
Is it in as 'full sun' exposure as you have or in the same place it was during the summer?
Did you change your watering?

Thank you @0soyoung for your response.
The foliage is "unhappy" and the color is dull.
I kept it out of full sun for some days.
I mist it as often as I can (2-3 times) and I take care not to water much like in the past.
I'm thinking that I should have waited a little more....

@defra Mean temp. for October was ranging : low 13°-17°C and high 19°-26°C
Currently mean temp. : low 13°-12°C and high 20°-19°C
Obviously not cold so that to affect the tree.

Thanks for your interest @defra
After the "struggle" I gave to eliminate pseudococcus during summer/early fall (either by chemical spray or by hand) I believe the tree is clean.
We will see...
