When your quiet season occurs, is it because of dry weather? Do you stop manual watering, too to let them go dormant?

@Forsoothe! ,

almost all the trees on Trinidad were seeds left by birds from South amd Central
America. More or less Sub-tropical.

They seem to follow a November/ Christmas to February/March dormant period.

We used to repot after Jan.1st.
But have shifted to April / May as the more frequent high 60's was
damaging some trees.

Trees in the earth/ground show no such reactions, just pots.

Watering remains normal as there is no rain from Christmas until
May / June,
Dormant as in no new shoots, some plants will self defoliate once a year.
Good Day
