Imperial Masterpiece
Found out in a Chinese book, recently, this not only a zone 7 vining
shrub in China, it is also deciduous.
So this year, tried something new.
Repot is next year.
Soil is,
5 mm silica based gravel
5 mm crushed red brick
aged compost
all at 1/3. This a thirsty vining shrub.
Placement - bright light / dappled light / morning and late evening light
Cuts will only heal at this size -- 0
Found in the yard, bird planted and the 1st of about 5 types we have of this
plant.
Age ?
The only plant that might look close to Penjing.
We use grow and clip, but not Chinese Design.
Might be imagined as an Old tree overlooking a pond/ lake / stream
Maybe a long thin rectanguar pot or oval, with a bit of glaze simulating
water. [ @Bolero ]
Enjoy
