I’ve spent an absurd amount of money on legos over the years to Do with my son. Might have to add this one...at least it won’t die.

What type of tree would you say it is? Seeing that it has aerial roots I'd say ficus, but the foliage does not seem ficusy to me, juniper maybe?
That's my final answer, Shimpaku juniper grafted on ficus trunk.

the "aerial roots" are supposed to be wire I think

This is kinda cool but also pity that they didn’t design a bit better tree then something that looks like a gardencentre cheap procumbens juniper.

perhaps a challenge to create a real good one. Seeing all the awesome things made in lego it sure should be possible. Anyone?

I got kids that love Lego, 80 bucks is a steal compared to the millennium falcon or Harry potter's castle.

Mine was 49.99 euro so around 60 USD, straight from the Lego website directly.

Nope... look closely. That's from scalpers.

Seems like every LEGO kit that comes out... the scalpers buy up as many as possible to try to corner the market, and then resell them at a sharp premium.

Buy them fast, because they are quickly getting picked up:
