I was using dry soluble fertilizers for their ease of customization when it comes to starter formula and also balanced motherplant formulas. The NPK RAW brand was preferred as they offered the various bio-stimulants such as humic and Fulvic acids along with amino acids and kelp....also surfectants and other single products.
This was my first go around with blending custom nutrients and it was getting expensive.I was easily spending $1000 per year and was predicting as much as $1500 or more! With growth of my small business.
So, luckily had an email saved some time ago from an NPK brand subsidiary company KALIX COMMERCIAL fertilizer.NPK is their parent company.
Anyway, long and short....I spent about $1100 on 9 of their products.About 65 lbs of fertilizer along with about 60 lbs or so various bio-stimulants.Easily enough for the next 5 years...I say 5 years because the shelf life for Amino Acids is 5-7 years. So looks like I saved anywhere from $4000-$7000 over the next five years:oops:🤭
So if anyone using these Dutch Hydro products....please put up the money and by bulk quantities.

AMINO ACID ( L glutamate/L glycine) for vastly increased calcium absorption.
KELP
I especially like the two part grow formulas for veg and also the 1:1 nitrogen to potassium ratio two part Motherplant formulas.Very easy ,as I was calculating ppm’s myself to achieve these balanced formulas.
I use a blend of humic and Fulvic acid along with kelp in a 5:2 ratio. This stimulates the plants to produce a very powerful plant protection enzyme. The Fulvic acid is great for absorption of mineral and growth element ions directly into plant cells. Can make more efficient use of fertilizer and actually use less fertilizer for a lower EC of nutrient and less salt buildup in growing medium!
Fulvic Acid definately the magic ingredient in this respect.I am currently fertilizing mature trees with a very modest EC of 1.0 just adequate to maintain green and let plants rest after the defoliations and just photosynthesize to rebuild energy. The deciduous flush out and essentially stall , but remain a healthy green and photosynthesize and backbud to get strong without using all the energy for growth.Heavy on the photosynthesis;)
most of my trees respond excellently to this fertilizer and treatment.
