KateM's Tigerbark Ficus Cascade.

In summer/fall of 2024 I twisted a whip cutting from large tigerbak in attempt to make a cascade.
12/14/24.
Wire bite got pretty bad...
Unwired and put a wire tie on to keep the bend tight.

Repotted in the same pot. Some root reduction and a slight tilt and shift to the edge of the pot.

Probably not...
Here is its patent and the wire mark is from where it was the 5th of what it is now in thickness.
There are probably ways to disguise it, but not at this point.

The Fukien Tea Tree that was given to me has a few small wire bites. But, as a store bought bonsai, it's trunk was given two 90% angles to make it look interesting or something.. lol
Anyway, I've had it for several years now and the bites look like they're there to stay. Oh well, could be worse.
